Cool Peel laser around eyes without ocular shields?

Hi, I had a cool peel done on my face and neck and want to get it done on upper and lower eyelids. I spoke with 3 doctors offices and none of them use them. Only eye goggles that they move and change settings accordingly. Is this safe? I am nervous to have a laser go right over my eyeball without protection. Any insight?
