What to do about the itch after Fractora? (Photo)

Question

I just got fractora on my butt for stretch marks today and the doctor said it might be a little itchy as I healed but that it doesn’t happen in most people. “A little itchy” doesn’t begin to cover it. She gave me hydrocortisone for the itch if I needed it, but it’s not helping at all. Can I ice it? What all can I do to help? I want to rip my skin off.

Remember that to apply a product like hydrocortisone correctly your skin must be damp first. Otherwise you're rubbing it onto the skin dry and it's not absorbing or working. So my first question is, is your skin damp when you're applying this?? If not, try it that way. And you can take an OTC allergy pill like Benadryl as well. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot

There are several treatments available.  You can use steroid (which come in different strength) and Benadry.  I doubt there is infection in which case can use topical antibiotic.  You can also take Benadryl by mouth.  It is over the counter.  If you touch it  you can get it infected.  In my experience with both Fractura and Amorphous 8 the itching is mild.
