Is it normal that food gets stuck in the gaps that remained in between the porcelain veneers after one week?

Is it normal that food stucks in the gaps remaining inbetween the one week made porcelain veneers because before getting veneers i didnt have such a problem at all and it feels so uncomfortable and heavy bulky got a translucent layer made on it got yellow and torns when eating that all makes me regret what i did to my natural teeth just because they were 1-2 mm small without noticable gaps and its not reversible
