I'm going to have a closed sinus lifting surgery and dental implants next week. I've heard that you need to avoid smoking cigarettes with dental implants. I'm wondering if it is the action of smoking that slows the healing or is that just nicotine, or both? I don’t smoke nicotine but I am getting treatment with medical marijuana. Whether or not smoking marijuana will greatly affect my implants success? If so, how long I should avoid smoking? What about vaping (vaporizer) marijuana?
