20 y/o female. I want a quick treatment as Im not pleased with how they look. I have been missing my lateral incisors since birth. As a result, my canines ruin the way my teeth look I want veneers only on canines. I dont mind the gap in my front incisors nor do I mind the crookedness/overlapping of my lower teeth. I aim to go for a quick procedure that will correct my imperfections without something invasive such as braces(i've been told that my biscusps will be removed if i get braces)

The veneers would have to be cut off and the surface of the underlying teeth lightly smoothed to remove any residual bonding resin. Your dentist should be able to achieve this result without causing any damage to your underlying tooth.
Your dentist had placed translucent edges on your porcelain to make them look more natural, that is why when you put your tongue under them you see it!
I believe you had instructed your dentist for the color and translucency before hand! If certain areas are sharp, that can be easily be smoothed...
