What is Invisalin Made From?

Simple question for sure. Its made of non toxic, medical grade acrylic that is hypoallergenic. It does not contain any of the materials used in plastic water bottles that everyone is starting to be concerned with. Not to worry.

Invisalign aligners are made of a medical grade polyurethane resin.
They do not contain Bisphenol-A or phthalate plasticizers. Extensive tests have been conducted to determine that the material is bio-compatible, non-toxic and safe for human wear in the mouth.
 

The clear plastic tray material is harder than bleach trays commonly used to whiten teeth. While being plastic means that there is a little bit of give, the material is very rigid, which is important when trying to create forces large enough to move teeth.
