Only YOU can tell if it is worth it to do in your 50's.  It is very common for people in this age range to invest in themselves this way and they all wish they would have done so much sooner, but are glad that they did.

Ask an orthodontist or experienced Invisalign dentist if Invisalign would work for you.

As a young orthodontist many years ago, I saw a presentation on "Adult Orthodontics" by Dr Marvin Goldstein who made the statement in the title.  At the time, adult orthodontics just was not very popular as it is currently.  Invisalign has taken adult treatment to a whole new level.  As long as the health of the gums and bone support is good, then go for it.  Invisalign tends to be a better option than braces as a person gets older because large fillings and crowns that may appear as one gets older present an extra challenge with braces.  An evaluation by a qualified Invisalign orthodontist is in order.  Good luck to you.
