I was previously a mildly tuberous A cup and I really wanted to become a full C... I know there is scoring and everything else that I know you'd have to do for the tuberosity however I am 4 days post op and if its going to get any smaller than this I might not even fit into the A cup bras that I've always had. I am 5"4 155pounds. The implants were 335cc gummy bears under the muscle.
Answer: Why am I still an A-cup after augmentation? Thanks for your question. This is a common problem with sizing for augmentation. Patients often want to be a cup size that is not necessarily what they turn out. Cup sizes are very arbitrary, and your postoperative size is more based on volume than traditional breast and bra sizes. It's physically impossible to still be in an A-cup bra after 330 mL of implant is placed. In general each 150 mL is one cup size. Give it time, you will likely be a C cup bra and have a very natural look once you have healed and the skin tissue has had time to relax. Good luck.

Answer: Concerned about Breast Size after Breast Augmentation?
Although your concerns are understandable, it is much too early to be evaluate the end results of the procedure and/or to be concerned about having achieved a specific cup size. At this point, you are better off exercising patience in allowing 3 to 6 months to pass before evaluating the end results of the procedure performed. Even at that time, it will be best that you not use cup sizes (varies depending on bra manufacturer) as a “gauge” when it comes to evaluating the end results of the procedure performed. Hopefully, you will be pleased with the increased breast size, improve breast contour, and improved body “proportionality” regardless of the specific breast cup size achieved.
Best wishes.

Answer: BBA There is no way to guarantee a particular bra size. Bra sizing varies greatly between bra manufacturers and a C in one bra will be a D in another. What matters more than the assigned bra size is the way the implant looks on you. The best option for your body and aesthetic goals can be determined in a thorough implant sizing session.Implant sizing depends on several factors. One of the most important factors is your breast width. Generally, your surgeon will measure your breast width, and then provide you with a range of implant sizes appropriate for your native breast size. There are more nuances to it than just what I've described, but this approach works for most women.I usually have my patients bring in a large bra and a tight t-shirt to do sizing. I'll then choose 3-4 implants that I feel are appropriate, and have my patients place them in the bra under the tight t-shirt. My patients can then look in the mirror and get a good sense of what they will look like with the provided implant sizes. My patients like this approach and get a great idea of how they will look.By using this technique, your surgeon can outline a range of appropriate implant sizes that will be aesthetically pleasing, and you make the final decision.I hope this helps. Good luck!

Answer: You need to give it at least 4 weeks, or may be 4 months!
At 4 days postop it is very hard to tell anything, and it is very often the case that I am fooled into thinking that the implants are too small at that stage. This is because the swelling creates a sort of optical illusion with proportions, and until that settles down you can't really tell anything. In addition, if you started out with tuberous breasts, they may need additional time to accommodate the implants just because of the tension and constriction of the tissues. The main thing here is BE PATIENT and listen to your surgeon's instructions. Size change is not an emergency.

Answer: Inserted 335cc Gummy Bear Implants and I Am Still an A Cup. Why is That?
Need before and after posted photos to respond. But my guess too small of implant choice. Best to discuss with your surgeon.
