What is peeling off my gum?

I got a temporary crown today on tooth number 30. I have not used that side of my mouth to chew anything since. I have something peeling off my gum, what could it be?

It can be done but is likely to cause an aesthetic issue.  Probably better to take both off and have the dentist make you A temporary crown for the one that you are keeping for now.  Good luck.

Why would a crown appear more grey after about 6 months?

There is a good chance there may be leakage under the crown.  This will cause the tooth to turn slightly gray.  I would schedule an appointment with your dentist to have it examined.  Good luck.

I just had 6 Emax crowns put on. They cemented them in with dark Grey cement. Is that right to use grey cement? (photo)

Emax porcelain crowns is not for every tooth, it depends on the underlying shade and color of your prepared dentin. Usually if the color of prepared teeth are grayish to dark, it will pick up the color of your underlying tooth, since E-Max crowns are more translucent !The Beauty of Emax crowns...
