it's my advice to go with Invisalign [aligner] because you are planning ortho treatment a second time. Space reopening is common with high labial frenum cases. so undergo frenectomy surgery after aligner treatment with a bonded retainer to prevent relapse again.

Hi there, I think Invisalign would be a great option for you. You have a deep bite, meaning your lower teeth are sitting too high. Invisalign has new technology to be able to correct deep bite's and would easily close the gap you have in the front. In order for you to keep these results when you are finished with your Invisalign, you will be need to be diligent with wearing a retainer afterwards. I can't diagnose your case from the photo you have submitted, but if your goals are to close the gap which opened you have many treatment options available.  You may be a candidate for 'Invisalign Express'.  Invisalign Express is a short duration of Invisalign (5 or 10 trays), and the cost is less then traditional Invisalign.  Ceramic (clear) braces would also accomplish space closure.  You may even be able to wear a special type of retainer (spring aligner), which could close the space.  I would consult with your orthodontist to find out the pros and cons of each option.  Good luck!
