Will getting braces make my lower lip stick out more? (photos)

Thank you for your question. That is actually a very astute observation, because not everyone looks at their face from the side view! I am very impressed that you have contemplated about this.
I would not say that you have a BIG lip per se. The position of your lips is determined by the position of your teeth. The bottom lip gets most of its support from the position of your top teeth (ironic, i know), so changing the position of the teeth will change how prominent your lip looks. There are ways you can change the position of your lips with orthodontic treatment. Your orthodontist will take some x-rays and photos and then discuss different treatment options. Some treatment might include taking some teeth out. The space that is gained from taking teeth out will be used to move your teeth (hence your lip) further back. We need more photos and x-rays before we can make a decision on that. Therefore, I cannot give you a definite answer, but it is very likely that the position of your lip will change with braces.

by seeing your profile, i feel its an extraction case. you might need your 4 premolars extraction to create space to retract forwardly places teeth. cephalometric analysis is must for final diagnosis.
