After 2 months exactly 60 days I am worried about my hair transplant, I feel like it has failed. Just wanted an expert analysis?

Got hair transplant done in India. Its been exactly 60 days. 2500 grafts all in the frontal region. None in crown area. Has it failed, will it take off, should i get another one??

At 60 days (2 months) post-op it is too early to determine the success of the procedure. The transplanted follicles will not even start to regrow for 90-150 days. Hand in there a little longer and try to stay positive. Negative thinking is never helpful.

Hello. I understand your concern. You want to see results and you want to see them now!!!! I get it, but you’re going to need to have some patience. It’s going to take at least another month before you’re able to see any growth. By 8-12 months you should see about 95% growth. Hang in there.

At two months after a hair transplant no results can be ascertained.  It takes several months after surgery for the grafts to begin to regrow and likely a year or more for the final results.

Typically people do not start seeing growth for 3 to 5 months post op. Sometimes even up to a year. PRP treatments can speed up the follicle cycle and promote growth. I have had much success with this method. Just be a patient patient and let nature take it course.

At 2 months, I would not expect to see growth. The growth usually starts at about 3-4 months after the hair transplant was done and reaches 95% of the growth by the 8th month
