Saline Injections for atrophic scars on face 7 months post rhinoplasty - would this impact rhinoplasty results?

I have steroid scars from a doctor different than the one who performed my rhinoplasty (for acne scars). They left me with fat atrophy and dents in my face. They weren't that noticeable, but after my rhino (in which skin was removed), they became very apparent. I would like to inject those areas with sterile, preservative free normal saline. Injections will be subdermal and intradermal. Would this be ok? Would it ruin my rhino results? I'm 7 months post op.

Since your rhinoplasty surgeon is familiar with your medical history and details of surgery, it's best to check in with him/ her before doing saline injections for nasal acne scarring.  In general, at 7 months, the bones and cartilage of the nose are pretty stable; while the soft tissue (skin, underlying connective tissue of the nose) continues to have some swelling or edema, which takes 1+ years to resolve.  Depending on the amount of soft tissue swelling you have, saline injections may temporarily worsen this, usually temporarily.  Skin saline injections generally should not affect the stability of the nasal bones and cartilage.
