Will Emsculpt result be largely compromised if I can only tolerate a maximum of 50% power intensity?

I have just done my first emsculpt treatment on the abdomen and I can only take up to 50% maximum power after all the sets. Wondering if I should still get more sessions if I can only withstand around this level of power. How much will my result be compromised with such a low power level? Im pretty skinny and active. Was wishing for toning up my muscles through emsculpt. Thank you doctor!

No, we tell patients not to focus on the intensity and instead focus on how much your body can tolerate. Every patient is different and in order to have good results, you want to be at a level where it is slightly uncomfortable yet tolerable regardless of the power intensity.

No, you will still get good results. Not all areas are to go up to 100% anyway. On the abdomen, it is best to achieve at least 40%. Personally, I cannot do 100% myself on the abdomen.

My understanding is that patients who are more athletic or physically fit can tolerate higher energy levels. You can probably with muscle strengthening increase the tolerance. 50% is all you can tolerate than 50% is what you can tolerate.
More than anything else I would make sure that you’re a good candidate for the procedure. The procedure strengthens muscles. It really doesn’t do anything else so if people have thick layers of subcutaneous fat or significant skin laxity that no matter how strong their muscles are they won’t be visible.
Just like any other procedure some people are good candidates for it and some people are not. Understand your candidate see for the procedure. This is usually the most important variable.
