Does finasteride stop working after some time?

Hi, i have been taking finastride since 11-SEP-2018(6 months), got better results with small effect on my erection (not completely),sexual thoughts and noticed less sperm. Recently i am getting good erection and slowly it's becoming as it was before finasteride medication and noticed slight increase in hair fall. so finasteride stopped working or my body trying to overcome the side effects i got? also on internet i read finasteride stops woking in few persons after 1 year. is it true?

I appreciate your inquiry. Finasteride does not work long-term for every patient, as you might be realizing. Your best option now is to meet with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive experience in hair loss for a full assessment. There are other treatment options besides Finasteride that might work better for you at this point. In my office, many of my patients see excellent results using PRP hair restoration. Finasteride may become less effective as you age.  It varies between people and it is best managed by a doctor who knows this process of treatment
