Is SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel safe for use during a microneedling procedure?

Hi. I am in my late 30s and am considering microneedling with a skinpen device at a board certified dermatologist. The aesthetician has advised that SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel will be applied during the procedure and will be provided for at home use. I am a cautious skin care enthusiast and would like any comments on the safety of this topical used during the procedure. I am concerned about a possible allergic reaction or even worse, a granuloma.
