Replace missing top wisdom teeth with dental implants to prevent further bone loss? (photos)

Question

I had my two top wisdom teeth removed 14 months ago and since then my face has changed dramatically. My cheek bones have dropped and the area below my eyes has sunken in a bit, causing the muscles and skin to sag. I now have larger bags under my eyes, deeper nasal labial folds when smiling, and skin sags at the cheek and neck area, jaw line is gone. My top jaw has also moved back forcing my lower jaw back further as well. Will implants at 14 months out help to slow or prevent further bone loss?

I find it hard to believe that removing wisdom teeth can cause a change in facial bone structure. In fact, unless you had zygomatic and sphenoid bone reconstruction then this is impossible. There is another explanation, and frankly I can can see barely any difference in your photos.

The changes you mention would not be caused by removing wisdom teeth. Are these the only back molars you had? If so, maybe your face could be more sunken in,etc and implants could be done to help that but these would be in the more forward molar positions. not the wisdom teeth.
