I have been going to a popular nurse injector for Botox for 2+ years and have been very happy w/her work. She has started offering Euro Thread lifting and I am very interested. The price is $25 per thread. She does not use barbed threads, they are smooth/hair-like threads. I am wanting them in my lower face to soften nasolabial folds and tighten cheek area. I am worried about possible nerve damage and the possibility of seeing them under the skin, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer: Euro Threads Hello and thank you for your question and photos! The euro threads will definitely give you the desired outcome if done by a trained professional. I would recommend sharing your concerns with your experienced provider and request to view some of her before and afters. Our patients are very happy with the results we are able to achieve with Euro Threads. We have also used euro threads successfully in combination with other treatments such as j-plazty, Ultherapy, fillers and Sculptra for a high rate of satisfaction! I hope this information helps and best of luck!

Answer: PDO Thread in Lower Face Hi and thank you for your question! You have a beautiful face! PDO threads (which come from a number of manufacturers/distributors with different names) are excellent choices for rejuvenation and lifting the skin in mid and lower face, although each patient is different and it is best determined in a consultation. The procedure itself is certainly more complicated that simple Botox injections and I highly recommend that you work with someone who is highly skilled and experienced in PDO thread lift for best results. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Thread to improve skin laxity Hello, I had an opportunity to work with many different types of thread for the intention of improving skin laxity mostly in the lower third part of the face. I personally prefer Silhouette Insatift to re contour the face by lifting the deeper layers of the skin for a more youthful appearance. These thread are painlessly placed and will naturally absorbed by your body while stimulating collagen production to aid healthy and natural looking result. Most complications are technical errors by either being in a wrong skin depth or selecting a wrong patient who are not a right candidate for this type of treatment. In an experienced hand, it will be rewarding procedure with high satisfaction rate. Best of luck
