How long does the blurred vision last after Botox injections?

Question

I had Botox 5 weeks ago. Day 8 started having very bad headaches, blurred vision, dizziness and anxiety. All the symptoms went away,the blurred vision persist. What are the reports of the length of duration of blurred vision in patients complaining of the symptoms?. I have had Botox for the past 4 yrs without complications. However this time the doctor gave me Botox in the inner part of the eyes, and I think that might be the problem causing blurred vision. Will it last the whole 3 to 4 months?

Most likely, your symptoms are unrelated to the Botox injections, especially being that the onset of symptoms was 8 days later. You need to immediately consult with your ophthalmologist for diagnostic testing.

I do not think Botox is the cause of your blurry vision. I think you should chef juke a follow up  with our ophthhalmologist

I haven't seen any cases of blurred vision resulting in Botox injections. I would definitely recommend seeing an eye expert as soon as possible.Thank you for your question!Kate Ross, MD

I would consult an Ophthalmologist ASAP. I have heard of very rare double vision but not of blurred vision being related to Botox. Perhaps if the Botox was dripped in the eye and the muscles affecting the iris and lens were affected, this could happen but I would leave that to an expert in the eye area.
