I have a broken wisdom tooth in the back that has been broken for over a year but is painless. I have heart issues and anxiety and don’t want to get it pulled, due to the issues that may come with it. But i am looking to get braces to straighten my teeth. which i’ve had before. am i still able to get braces without getting this broken tooth pulled?

Retainers do NOT move teeth. However, there is an Inman Aligner that resembles a Hawley, but it is designed to move teeth. There are springs, etc. A retainer, no matter what kind is used, is only supposed to keep teeth in the current position.
Your orthodontics well might change your lip support. As for the chin and jaw line, you had better discuss this with your dentist. All these factors depend upon how the teeth are being moved and only your dentist can answer that question.
The time needed to make your retainer of a week, or even two, is fairly common. If your teeth are moving noticeably a call to your doctor may be a good idea. However minor changes are usually taken care of by your retainers as they can handle tiny movements that might have happened after y...
