Hello Ethereal12,Thank you for your question and for sharing your photos. You have an excellent athletic build, but because you are in such great shape you likely will not have enough fat donor sites to place a significant volume of fat in order to augment your buttocks. If the boxy shape is what you are most unhappy about this may be improved with contouring the outer thigh and possibly the lower back with targeted liposuction to give the buttock a rounder appearance. Contouring alone can give the appearance of greater projection in some instances. And as a weight lifter, the combination of contouring with weekly squats can really give you a very nicely projected buttock. I would recommend meeting with a plastic surgeon to discuss your specific goals and options and together come up with a plan to achieve the results you desire.Best of luck!Dr. Rednam
Hi.. thank you for the question and photos... Evaluating your photos.. a Liposuction could be done with care, to extract and amount of fat to correct these Hip "dip".... But it would be to improve the shape... without large volume. If you are interested in the buttock volume... i suggest an implant. I do not indicate my patients to gain weight.
Based on your photos, I'm not sure you have enough excess fat to be a candidate for the BBL procedure. The amount of volume that can be added to your buttock will be limited by the amount of excess fat you have in your donor sites. The posterior flanks are a great reservoir of donor fat for the BBL procedure. The BBL procedure involves harvest fat from areas of your body where there is excess fat and injecting that fat carefully into the central zone of your buttock. In addition, it involves liposculpting the buttock to facilitate a more rounded look. The common donor sites for this procedure is your posterior waist/flanks, lateral thighs, back, waist, and anterior tummy. Please visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more about your options.Dr. BasuHouston, TX
Hip implants are an infrequently performed procedure as injectable fat grafting today as eliminated their need for many patients. They are only used today for very thin patients that have little fat to transfer. Unlike all other body implants they are not placed under the fascia but in the...
Regarding buttock augmentation, let me start off by saying that I currently see at least 1 - 2 patients per week that failed "brazilian buttock lift" (i.e. the fat melted away after 10 - 12 months) and are now seeking a more reliable and permanent option (i.e. buttock implants). Allow me to...
Allow me to share with you some information that you may not hear elsewhere. There are only two proven safe and relatively effective methods for Buttock Augmentation and Hip Augmentation: 1) Autologous Fat Transfer (using your own fat, transferring from one area of the body to the...
