I'm planning to buy one of those home IPL for hair removal since I've had professional laser a year ago and I still have more growing. Can I use home IPL even if their energy equals 6 or 7 joules only? Would that stimulate fine hair to grow instead?

It is advised to have some form of protective eyewear on the patient when performing laser procedures, as it is better to be safe than run the risk of injury to the eye. We use IPL protective eye stickers at our practice, so that the goggles do not get in the way when performing a treatment.
