The frequency of Fraxel treatments depends on a few different factors, including the depth of your treatment, the sensitivity of your skin and the results you are hoping to achieve. More superficial treatments can be repeated every couple of months, while deeper treatments need to be less frequent to avoid damaging the skin and tissue. If you are working with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist, your doctor should be able to devise a treatment plan for you that will create an optimal outcome.
There is no single answer to this question, as the frequency of treatments will depend on the depth of your procedure, the results it produces and your skin's ability to heal. If you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in the Fraxel device, your provider should be able to customize your treatment plan based on your precise needs and goals.
Hi Andy. For our fractional laser resurfacing treatments, we usually do not perform them with less than 4 weeks in between treatments. This usually provides enough healing time for the skin. Best of luck.
Fraxel or Co2 are best for resurfacing and can be used at any age. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp, Sculptra, peels and rf treatments for more robust outcomes for facial rejuvenation. We space treatments every 4-6 weeks, but will depend on healing. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Depending on why you are getting the fraxel treatments for, fraxel can be performed as frequently as 1.5-2 months. I usually recommend patients who are getting fraxel for the first time to do a series and then start spacing them out for maintenance. The results speak for themselves.
The answer depends on your budget, on your specific concerns and your reaction to the treatment. We typically space Fraxel 2-3 txs every 4-6 weeks for general facial resurfacing.
The downtime to Fraxel is typically a week. During the first two days, you can expect redness, throbbing, and swelling (like a sunburn), then between days three to five, your skin will start to roughen up and peel. As tempting as it is to pick at the flakes, resist the urge and allow your skin...
Thanks for your question. What you are experiencing looks to be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is not uncommon. If you had an aggressive treatment sometimes this can last for a couple weeks especially depending on skin type. The utilization of a topical steroid can help calm things...
You just had Graceland laser resurfacing of the face and the nose still shows some blistering. This is a possible variant of healing scenario that should not be alarming. Fractionated laser , erbium or Co2 , can lead to such, and gentle care with protective care , solutions and...
