My orthodontist instructs me to switch trays every 10 days. He is so confident that switching every 10 days is safe and won't harm my teeth. I know everybody else is switching every 2 weeks, so I am still worrying some of my teeth may eventually die because of moving too fast. (I am 19 years old and have just started the treatment for 10 days.)

In my practice, as an Invisalign Premiere Provider Elite, I have learned to always listen to the concerns of my patients. It is true that that incisor can be "recaptured", but I always try to address this problem.
If you are happy with how your teeth look you should be able to discontinue treatment. Since some movement did take place you might still need to have a retainer made to hold everything in place
If it's too hard to keep seeing your former dentist, he/she can transfer your case to the new dentist and take over where they left off. You just have to see if the new dentist is willing to do that and what kind of fees would be involved by them to do so. It should not be as much, because the...
