I had a cold this week and my nose was runny. Two weeks ago, a TMJ specialist had told me I had an s-type deviated septum. As I was wiping my nose, I noticed that my left nostril did some thinner than my right. I pushed on my septum inside of my left nostril inwards. I heard a crack. I had a slight headache for the rest of the day, but very small. I can breathe much more easily through my nose and get more air than I did before. I would think this is fine, but the crack worried me somewhat.
