What is the healing estimate for my burns?

I had my second laser session 15 days ago on a sizable leg piece. I wound up in urgent care on Sunday for this absolutely intense itching, I couldn’t sleep. Two questions for the MD’s out there: 1) how long does this itching normally last in patients? The best hope the internet gives me is that the total healing process could last ~3 weeks. The itching keeps me awake at night so any hope that it will reside soon is more than welcome. 2) photos attached - did this tech overdo it? I want to call and notify the doctor that her tech burned me in two places, but not without being absolutely sure.

So, itching can be a normal part of the healing process for several days.  HOWEVER, itching that is waking you up at night is a bit intense for the regular healing process.  I suppose it could occur but I suspect you may be having an allergic reaction to the ink now that it has been released by the laser treatment (or a reaction to breakdown products of the ink).  You may benefit from some prescription anti-itching and anti-inflammatory medicines such as steroids like prednisone.
There does seem to be a few areas that are deep and may be prone to infection.  I would follow up with your doctor, at the very least send him/her this picture so they know what's going on.  An antibacterial wound dressing would not be out of the question, in addition to prednisone.  Best to have your doctor look at it in person.

Thank you for your question!  In order to answer this question it is essential to know what kind of method the surgeon was using to harvest the fat. There are a number of ways lipo machines  work. Some of them to work with heat. This can essentially also burn the skin if the heat is applied too long at one spot. A burn can also occur can around the incision due to friction.  Regardless of what the cause of the burn is, it will have to be treated properly by, preferably, the same Doctor who did the liposuction. The treatment of burns as much as the time it takes to help burn depends on the severity, meaning its depth.  All the best for your recuperation. Best of luck!
