Is it possible to get filler on top of ear cartilage?

yes you can get filler on top of a surgical rhinoplasty with ear cartilage but you take more risk in complications as this area is a sensitive area to begin with.  please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question! It is absolutely possible to have filler done on top of a surgical rhinoplasty. I do recommend waiting at least 12 months post surgery as you may still have some swelling. I would advise following up with your surgeon and finding a expert in non surgical rhinoplasty as this can be a sensitive area. 

Hello. I would recommend waiting until 12 months after surgery before undergoing any revision/corrections until all swellings have settled and final results are apparent. At that point, small corrections can be considered with filler and/or nanofat grafting or in some cases the cartilage can be slightly shaved down with a needle depending on the correction required. I would advise following up with your surgeon and/or seeing a board-certified surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty for consultation and treatment planning.
