Can we use other method in between laser hair removel sessions if needed?

Can we use other methods like plucking , threading in between laser hair treatment of upper lips if really needed in between the sessions...will it put any effect on teatment?? Because time period between sitting are really long (40 days) if in between we need to go in an occasion then its really feel uncomfortable to go with that hair...so any other way to remove that hair without disturbing the impact of laser treatment..
