I've had my first session of exilis to reduce tummy fat and now I have a painful lump. Is it safe to continue? (Photo)

Hello there,
      It is safe to continue treatment when there is no longer pain in that area. This is a collection of dead fat cells called panniculitis , and definitely can happen with treatments like this. I would recommend gently massaging the area several times a day to help disrupt the inflammation, swelling, and encourage the fat to be absorbed quicker. I would definitely discuss this with your provider since they may have other options (Cellutone) in the office to help this to resolve quicker. Good luck to you.
