HiThis is a common contraction from having microdermabrasion. It can occur regularly when the suction is placed on the higher end and the technique could be more flush. It is nothing to worry about and will go down in a few days. Kind regards
This is quite unusual to occur after microdermabrasion. I would advise you to have a check up appointment with your provider. There are several factors that may have caused this. It is either medications that you have been taking or inadequate pressure and suction on the area. Good luck!
Hi Eagle23,Bruising after microdermabrasion is unusual and likely came from excessive suction or too heavy pressure. It would be best for you to discuss this with your clinician prior to your next treatment. Certain medications and vitamin supplements can also lead to easy bruising and discontinuing these medications prior to the procedure can minimize it from happening again. One effective way to quickly clear bruising is with the Vbeam laser (pulsed dye laser) - one treatment can significantly speed up the time it takes to clear.Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Bruising after microdermabrasion may be caused by a deeper treatment of the affected area or because of a more intense application of pressure to the area. As far as helping the bruise heal, arnica gel is very effective in shortening the lifespan of a bruise especially when applied before the bruise appears. - Dr. Dickerson
That bruise could be from the trauma of microdermabrasion as typically the microdermabrasion treatment involves pushing on the skin. Dermend is used to treat bruising- it has vitamin K & arnica in it.
You probably burst a few capillaries in your forehead; this should get better within a few days. You may want to use some Arnica to expedite resolution of bruising.
Thank you for your question! I would suggest you to completely heal after your rhinoplasty. Microdermabrasion should not affect your rhinoplasty, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I would wait for at least one to two months to proceed with microdermabrasion. Best of luck!
Hi, Thanks for your questionIt looks as if the physician has used a firm pressure during treatment or potentially your are quite sensitive. On the other hand depending on the strength of the Glycollic peel you had also may have sensitized the skin. This is not a usual side effect of this ...
