I had laser mole removal a few days ago. It's still red and healing. Can I wear recommended sunscreen over it?

Used erbium yag and the area is still red like a chicken pox. After taking off the bandage in the morning it bled and I took care of it.

There are many options to improve the scar.  topically a silicone based scar gel with growth factor will help.  lasers can be used at this point to improve the color.  Best, Dr. Emer.

If you have scarring, I suggest laser treatments and/or scar gel.  Dermaflage is a good camoflage alternative.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I suggest waiting 2-3 weeks and using a silicone based growth factor gel with aquaphor to speed the healing and prevent scarring.  Best, Dr. Emer.
