I have an asymmetrical smile. Is this a muscle problem? (Photo)

I've had this for years but it has become more obvious as more of my bottom teeth have begun to show. Basically I can only move the left side of my mouth down and the right side up.

It does appear that you have a muscular imbalance in your smile. 
This could be a weakness in a muscle or nerve on one side of the face, or an over compensation of a muscle. 
A consultation would be required to determine the correct course of treatment. Botox treatment could be considered in this scenario.

yes, it's because of asymmetry in muscle and its activity. You can visit a physiotherapist for muscle activity correction exercises. You can also take Botox for asymmetry correction, botox is not a permanent solution.
