Hello! I am 41 years old. Wondering if I should add sculptra to my temple and lower cheek area (see photo of injection technique I was looking into. Would this help add some you youth back to my face?
Answer: Sculptra in the temples Yes!! Do it! Over the last 20 years, I have seen so many happy patients when we address the temples. The photo you posted of the injection lines for the temple are a good general assessment and but your injector may decide to change that up a bit.

Answer: Good candidate for Sculptra? Hello Rose. Yes you do appear to be a candidate for Sculptra. The forward facing photo shows volume loss at the temples and the side view shows volume loss in what we refer to as the pre-auricular space, the area in front of the ears. Your cheeks have good lateral volume (the width), but the mid face - the portion of the cheek below the eyes - could use some volume as it is flattening. Overall, we would likely suggest 3-4 vials of Sculptra over a period of 6 months.

Answer: Necessary Analysis and Non-Surgical Solutions Hello; There is sagging in your cheeks, volume loss in the medial cheek and tear through area. For relevant sagging in your cheeks; the best solution, if you do not have a plan to get a surgery; is PLA (Sculptra, Lanluma) to be applied on the subcutaneous plane. For realizing volume; I recommend for PLA implementation on the bone; that is, deep tissues or a dermal filler application; with a high lifting affect; which is Hyaluronic Acid based.

Answer: Southern California Sculptra Expert...Would I be a good candidate for Sculptra? (Photo) Hello there Rosepetal, I would treat you with Sculptra in a minute. Make sure that you choose an expert injecting physician who has experience with Sculptra! I recommend Sculptra treatment to all of my patients at their initial visit, there no better collagen regenerative stimulator that is safe, effective, and natural looking when injected properly by an expert. Good luck and be well.

Answer: HA Fillers Work Well For Temple Augmentation & Are Reversible If Necessary The photos do suggest some temple area volume deficit that can be addressed with fillers. I gave up using Sculptra quite a number of years ago, since it is expensive, typically requires three treatment sessions to achieve the desired results and does not have any enzyme to dissolve it should the need arise. By contrast, HA fillers are natural sugars, that can yield immediate, on-the-spot results, usually after one treatment session, and can be dissolved fairly easily should the need ever arise. I would suggest caution if considering augmenting the cheeks out of concern that, at least at this stage, this might result in an unappealing "apple cheek" appearance, particularly when smiling. You would be wise to make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Best of luck.
