Hello, thanks for your question. First of all, you should have a complete physical exam to see your skin condition and your tattoo. You may have great results using a Laser system to reach the exact layer of the skin where the tattoo is, without harming the surrounding tissues. Good luck!
The black inks are easier to remove because it absorbs all wavelengths. I would wait at least a month before lasering the area. That black is profound so dont expect a quick removal but unless that ink has substances in there making laser removal more difficult I would think it should come off.
It will take a series of treatments either through laser or microneedling to see any difference. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. If it's new, you'll want to wait until it's completely healed (around 4-6 weeks) Best, Dr. Emer
