I have tooth/jaw pain 10 months after root canals. Dental followup showed nothing on X-ray. Endo re-check-no issues. What now?

Hello there,Based on your description of events, I strongly suspect that the issue is your bite.  I know that you mentioned that it was already adjusted once, but this does not mean that it does not need to be adjusted more.  You've already had root canals on the teeth, so the only issue in my mind, would be the bite.  Have it adjusted again.  Good luck and I hope this helps. It seems like you are trying to solve this problem and so are your treating dentists.  There are several facts not made clear.  Was the crown removed so that the root canal could be done, or was it done thru the crown?  What tooth is it? Considering that an xray was taken recently and the dentist viewing it see no signs to cause your symptoms...here is what I would recommend.  Consider removing the crown for a while and replacing with a temporary in very light or no occlusion.  See if the symptoms disappear..if so the crown needs to be adjusted in all phases of your chewing and closing positions. If pain still persists w/o the crown in place get copies of your xrays..seek the opinion of another endodontist...select one who can do a 3-d dent-scan image of the tooth in question.  There are possible root fractures or additional nerve canals that ordinary digital xrays can miss.  unless there is a sinus problem or it is another tooth causing this...it is most likely one of the above reasons that is causing the recurrent pain.
