A 120 mL seroma is not particularly large after in abdominoplasty. It probably will require several aspirations before it resolves.
120cc is not a lot in terms of seroma. It is very common after TT surgery. Weekly drainage is advised untilall the fluid is gone.
Dear Newme,Thank you for your post.Seromas can be tricky. They can persist for a long time or go away quickly. frequent aspirations are necessary, and tight compression non-stop. I'm not sure really what's going on. A chronic seroma can appear as a sort of "bubble" and should be reported to your surgeon.
