Tissue expansion to remove tattoo?

Question

I need a tattoo on my arm removed asap for military. Laser is not an option for me. My question is if tissue expansion would be a good procedure. I heard of people that have done this online. Obviously it will leave a scar.

Thank you for your question. Pictures would be helpful.Probably, the quickest way of tattoo removal in your situation is excision of the tattoo and skin grafting.  This can be a painful and involved procedure, especially if it is a sleeve tattoo.

To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed
and certified providers for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good
candidate and that it is safe for you to have the procedure.

I have "treated" tattoos requiring immediate removal (at nearly any cost) in the past. By doing approximately 4 laser treatments in the same day, spaced out every 30 minutes, followed by a pass of a CO2 laser, and then repeated at 2 week intervals, the tattoo should be removed in significantly less time than it would take to expand the tissue, cut out the tattoo, suture the area, and the subsequently heal. On the extreme end of that, if someone wanted it removed in one session and did not mind trading it for a scar, ablative CO2 lasers at maximal settings also make this possible.
