What route do you recommend? Would excision be an option? this is causing so much anxiety at a time when I just want to be enjoying the birth of my new child.

Hi Popeng.  The Q-switched Trivantage has three wavelengths, but in your case you need only 1, the 1064, Q-switched Nd:Yg.  In addition, the Trivantage tends to be underpowered.  We use the Medlite C-6 but there are many other good Nd:Yg lasers out there.  We would not...

 I published and recommend laser skin resurfacing for skin colored and flesh toned tattoos and tattoos around the lip. Q-switched lasers can blacken them and it is interesting Picosure didn't help.  It is a relatively new technology and we are learning what it can and cannot do....

I completely disagree with Dr Katz. picosure laser works no differently than any other Q-switched lasers in the market. its just that it shatters the particles into a size smaller than Q-switched laser do. the healing is very similar. none of the lasers can "REMOVE" tattoo ink from the skin....
