What route do you recommend? Would excision be an option? this is causing so much anxiety at a time when I just want to be enjoying the birth of my new child.

You want to wait at least one month from when you got the tattoo.  The skin needs to be healed, with that being said, feel free to contact an office near you to start the process.

Tatto removal is done either by laser treatment or by surgical treatment.There are pros and cons to both, so the best thing to do is come in for a consultation.I would recommend starting wtih the laser, and if there are a few small areas that are hard to fade, these can be excised, leaving only small scars.good luck!

Laser tattoo removal is the best option to remove a tattoo.  It requires multiple treatments, but you should have success when the tattoo is fresh.
