What should I do if an Invisalign attachment falls off and I'm out of town?

I'm out of the country and I just realized that one of my attachments had fallen off. I've been out of town since Sunday, and I won't come back until Wednesday night. I know they for sure fell out during those days because I had all of them before I left. Since I probably won't be able to see my dentist until Thursday afternoon or Friday morning, will this cause a major change in my treatment?

Your lost attachment can be replaced and won't delay your tooth movement too much. I would continue wearing your current aligner until you see your dentist. He may want you to wear your current aligner another week or two.

Contact your Invisalign dentist and schedule an appointment for when you get back and continue to wear your aligners.  I would not progress to a new aligner stage if previously prescribed but stay in the current aligner set until your treating dentist re-bonds your attachments.
