Are veneers my only option or should I consider bonding again? Chipped front tooth, 49 y/o female (photo)

Question

I chipped my front tooth on a coffee mug and was told by one dentist I would need at least three to four front teeth veneers. A second dentist did bonding but it only last a few months then chipped, twice. Is is worth ti to get another dentist's opinion for bonding or am I stuck getting veneers? I am hesitant to lose so much of my real teeth. I am a 49 year old female.

if you do not want veneers you for sure can get away with very conservative bonding that will match the existing teeth. that is what i would do for my teeth

Bonding holds up fairly well first time out, however, subsequent approaches don’t adhere nearly as well. Generally speaking doing a veneer on a single front tooth can be challenging. However, it can be done by a proficient dentist working with an exceptional ceramist. I am assuming that the other teeth are unrestored.
