by my dentist suggestion, I got a crown on a tooth that wasn't bothering me.It had an old larger filling that he said was starting to become loose. After the crown the tooth started hurting from time to time. , the pain go so bad I made an appointment. The result, root canal. During the root canal they discovered that the tooth was cracked and needs to be removed. My dentist suggested that the crack was do to the fact that I sometimes grind my teeth at night.

Answer: Can you crack your tooth that has a crown by teeth grinding?
Well during late months in pregnancy you may get an xray to r/o any infection.
it is possible following a crown placement the pulp gets too stressed and eventually will need a root canal. you need to see a dentist to figure it out
Hi:
Depending on the amount of tooth structure remaining, individual crowns are always better. However, if you do not have enough tooth structure it might be better for the crowns to be connected.
