Constant sinus infections after septoplasty. What's wrong?

Question

Had septoplasmy and turbinate and polyp removal/ reduction, 8months ago. I've had 5sinus infections and constantly congested. Is there something wrong? Never got sinus infections like this before. Had the surgery bc of my deviated septum and I'm a singer. This is way worse then before. Also had my tonsils removed the same time and I've had strep since the surgery.

Very difficult to answer your question without examining you and seeing a Cat Scan of your sinuses as they are now.  You may have scar tissue from your last surgery blocking your sinus cavities .  If the surgery doesn't heal properly it is possible to have even more symptoms now than before surgery. This is usually easily corrected by revision sinus surgery .  I do a lot of these and using Navigational image guided techniques is the standard of care as I demonstrate below in the video made in my in office sinus surgery center.
