They integrate smoothly into the tissue, are easy to adjust, and if there’s ever an issue, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Migration can occur but is usually due to improper technique or overfilling, not the product itself.

Radiesse, on the other hand, is a firmer filler that works well for structural support — ideal for areas like the jawline, chin, or pre-jowl. It also stimulates collagen production, giving longer-lasting results. When used in small, precise amounts and injected deeply (as your provider mentioned, near the bone), the risk of nodules or lumps is quite low.

In experienced hands, both options can look natural and achieve excellent outcomes. Your injector’s plan to use a small, deep dose sounds appropriate for what you want to address.
