How to shower after breast reduction?

Do not let the water stream from shower head hit directly on incision sites, have stream hit on back and flow over shoulders onto breasts.  Do not scrub incision sites, use soap lightly above incision and let water draw soap over incisions.

Showering normally and pat drying will do no harm. Presuming all the wounds are healing appropriately you are unlikely to do any harm but if you have concerns run these past your PS.

No need to be afraid. Simply let the water run over your body. Be sure the stream doesn't hit your scars directly and no scrubbing. Unscented/gentle soaps are preferable. Be sure to also get the okay from your operating physician allowing you to shower.
