I’m two day post op breast reduction and I knew there would be swelling but it seems excessive. It’s reaching my clavicals and almost making it a little hard to breathe. Does this look normal?

Answer: Post breast reduction swelling Your swelling is unilateral which may indicate hematoma. Contact your plastic surgeon as this may be an indication for drainage as well as evaluation.

Answer: Is this excessive swelling for 2 days post breast reduction? After viewing your photos, the swelling appears to be only on the right side. This is usually the case with a hematoma. I would recommend calling your plastic surgeon right away as you may need to have this evacuated in the operating room.
