It is hard to find a good plastics doc - you waste half your time sorting through the guys that just love doing elective surgeries that have waiting rooms full of insecure people. I have had surgeons that do both elective and non-elective procedures and but prefer someone who isn't one of those over the top personalities. Dr. Martin was a great find after my last plastics guy retired. I had a few lumpy pieces of subcutaneous fat removed and I probably let them grow too big but he was able to knock it all out in a single surgery. He was on time for the surgery and everything went well. From a surgical standpoint, he is excellent - his bedside manners and ease of conversation is just a bonus. For someone who came from outside the US - his English is perfect. I would imagine his intellect might be a turn off for some dumb witted patients who leave a 1-star review but I've been around enough doctors to know the good ones from the bad. I would definitely use him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone who needs plastic surgery was done that fits the type of surgery that he does. My only issue from the surgery was a drain that had to stay in for weeks - that isn't the doctor's fault - bodies are all different and healing time is going to be up to your body, not the doctor.
Do not let the water stream from shower head hit directly on incision sites, have stream hit on back and flow over shoulders onto breasts. Do not scrub incision sites, use soap lightly above incision and let water draw soap over incisions.
