I saw my surgeon and she confirmed that my right implant has flipped and I can feel the thicker disc shape on the back through my skin. It is not painful, but not desirable either. She is telling me that I can just manipulate it back into the correct position...is this true, and if so what is the best way to do this?

Answer: Have te surgeon flip the implant, if it is even possible
It sounds like you have a capsular contracture. We see the patients on a regular basis every year to keep these things from sneaking up on you. You need to go see the plastic surgeon.
