I have a case of Folliculitis which I have seen many dermatologists about. They put me on different medications but it keeps recurring. One dermatologist told me it is not curable.
Is laser hair removal the only option? Will insurance pay for the laser if I have folliculitis?

Yes. You can only shave, bleach or use Nair between sessions. No waxing and tweezing between sessions as this removes the hair follicle the laser targets.
The first issue is that electrolysis is different than laser hair removal. One uses heat developed by light to remove hair (lasers) and the other uses heat developed by electricity (electrolysis) to remove hair. Because we perform only laser hair removal we will avoid commenting on electrolysis....
You can shave, but you won't need to do it as often because it will take longer for the hair to grow back. It is also usually recommended that you shave the day before your treatment. Things that you should not do in between treatments are plucking, waxing, tweezing, bleaching, or using...
