I had a mole excised from the side of my calf and they used dissolving stitches. The stitches dropped out after a week, and I did what they said, kept the area moist with aquaphor and a bandaid covering it for 2 weeks after the surgery. We’re now at 5 weeks on and the wound hasn’t closed (it’s smaller but still a hole) and it’s been draining. The fluid doesn’t smell. A little itchy but generally feel okay. Should I go back? And do I have to pay another copay if I do?
