I put 100% TCA on stubborn areas of my tummy tuck scar. Will the darkness go away? (photos)

The areas turned dark brown and are sensitive to touch. I applied it 3 days ago for 20 seconds. Will the skin peel and darkness do away?!

Did you apply this peel yourself ? Doing TCA at home or buying over the internet is very dangerous, and can lead to hyper pigmentation and scarring . i would follow up with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon as soon as possible.

I don't recommend applying TCA peels yourself due to the risk of hyperpigmentation. I recommend following up with your cosmetic dermatologist for after care recommendations. Hyperpigmentation and acne scarring can be improved with a combination of Cosmelan, lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care.
